To Whom It May Concern,
It is indeed both a personal and professional pleasure that I offer this letter of recommendation
on behalf of Deborah Griffin. I have known Deborah for some 18 years, and in all those years,
she has consistently displayed initiative, energy, compassion, vision, creativity, persistence, and
integrity in every aspect of her life.
Her work ethic is second to none. Deborah is motivated by challenges and effortlessly and
diplomatically moves around and through obstacles to get the job done. She is a team player and
a team leader, enrolling others in her vision. She handles assignments with little to no
supervision and can be counted on to complete any task efficiently, effectively and correctly.
On a more personal note, Deborah is intelligent, warm, and sincere, and her love of learning is
remarkably contagious. Her approach is professional, but tempered by an innate kindness and
respect for others. She makes not only an excellent first impression, but her personality assures
her of lasting admiration and friendship.
In sum, I am delighted to recommend Deborah Griffin. I do so unequivocally and with
conviction, for I know she will perform with distinction and skill.

Dear Mr. Amorine:
It is my pleasure to recommend Ms. Deborah Griffin to you for the Business Development Director position at Aramark Higher Education – South.
I have known Deborah since we met in the mid-1990s, when WSB-TV launched Momentum ’97 and
Leadership ’98, which was a marketing initiative to showcase Atlanta area leaders and what they were
doing of significance for the region and their organizations. It was her persuasiveness and perseverance
that attracted The University of West Georgia to participate in television advertising for the first time with
WSB-TV 2 in a “business to business” format, unlike a typical commercial. It was her customer care that
kept us engaged.
We were one of the first Universities to sign on with WSB-TV and Deborah, and we benefitted from that
relationship. That is what prompted me to write to my friends and former colleagues recommending
Deborah for a position with Aramark.
I am confident that, should you chose to hire her, you will find that the qualities to which I referred in the
second paragraph of persuasiveness and perseverance, along with customer care, will reap rewards for
Aramark. So too, will Aramark benefit from her work ethic, professionalism, business acumen, passion,
discipline, focus, positive attitude, and follow through.
Please feel free to contact me via telephone or e-mail if I can be of service to you in your decision

To Whom It May Concern:
I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation in support of Deborah Schwartz-Griffin’s candidacy for the position of Business Development Director – Large Accounts, Aramark Higher Education South. I have known Deborah since 1997, when she established a relationship with LaGrange College, where I served as President, and WSB-TV. Throughout all the years of knowing Deborah, I have met few people are as energetic, optimistic, passionate, and accomplished.
Thanks to Deborah’s relentless efforts, the relationship LaGrange College forged with WSB-TV enhanced LaGrange College’s visibility in the Atlanta market significantly, a market where we drew a large number of students.
While at LaGrange, our dining program was managed by Aramark, and I believe that relationship continues to this day. If I am not mistaken, the LaGrange College account for Aramark is one of the longest serving Aramark accounts in the Southeast. Having crossed paths with a number of business development directors in my 13 years at LaGrange College, none I knew compared to the promise that Deborah brings to this position. You will find her enthusiastic about connecting with college and university presidents throughout the Southeast, and I predict not only a higher retention of Aramark accounts, but a growing number of new accounts for Aramark.
Thank you for your consideration of Deborah’s candidacy. If I might answer questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.
